James Wallace @realfakejames.bsky.social · 01/12/2024Decided to start building a heretic Astartes army - pretty happy with my WIP first attempt at a Sons of Horus paint scheme for this legionary. 020 0
James Wallace @realfakejames.bsky.social · 20/11/2024100 percent agree - I feel like I've often missed out on experiences because I've been too scared to just dive in and allow myself to be bad at something. Learning to embrace failure as a necessary step on the path to improvement has been hugely beneficial for me. 010 0
James Wallace @realfakejames.bsky.social · 20/11/2024Thank you! I had a blast painting it and have definitely learned a lot. The intensity of the highlights on the joints is a bit higher than I would've liked, but luckily I have a bunch more on which to incrementally improve! 000 0
James Wallace @realfakejames.bsky.social · 19/11/2024I’ve only been painting minis for a few months, but as a hobby it has taught me an incredibly valuable lesson; it is okay to suck at something and to keep doing it anyway. I’m far from good, but infinitely better than when I started. And that’s something worth celebrating. #warhammer 2101 0
James Wallace @realfakejames.bsky.social · 19/11/2024In an effort to be less of a contrarian, I’m committing to doing one (1) social media. To that end, here’s the stuff I like; 🤠 Dungeons and Dragons 🤠 League of Legends 🤠 Warhammer/Mini Painting 🤠 Miniature terrain building 🤠 Playing & listening to music 🤠 Neuroscience #promosky 030 0
