Regime change doesn’t happen from the sky. It demands boots on the ground. Examples: 🇮🇶 Iraq — 4,419 U.S. dead, 31,993 wounded 🇦🇫 Afghanistan — 2,459 U.S. dead, 20,769 wounded And still, no lasting friendly regimes. Because that would’ve meant indefinite occupation. What in hell are we doing?

It's impossible for #manufacturing that has moved to another country, to cone back AND create the same number of #jobs. It would have to be through extreme automation, for final products to be cost competitive. Low cost products wouldn't provide the profits to cover the costs of that #automation.

Most Americans will hurt badly from these tariffs And I'm not a fan of Bezos, but Amazon does provide a cost effective service that many people MUST use Keep in mind, some humans are just surviving

Best case he turns off Apr 2nd tariffs Monday. Leaves the 10pct tariffs (not great, but realistic). Elon leaves Doge, which decides to stagger the cuts over 3 yrs, accounting for local impact. That slows the economy, reducing interest rates, reducing payments on debt to affordable levels.

Any farmers out there that can speak to whether they can get info for planting season ? Or loans to help them get through this ? Are federal offices open to even process loan requests ?

It's not a bad idea to go to the local Walmart or big box retailer and buy lots of consumables now. From toothpaste to soap, anything you can find storage space for, buy before they have to replenish inventory. Even if it's made in the USA , they will jack up the price and blame it on tariffs.

We've seen the first needle move on the GOP, the senate. As thibgs get worse we'll see more of it The house... Without majority it is hard to bring things to the floor and the house is loaded with ugly MAGA Continue to make things difficult for them!

All people on the Signal #HouthiPCSmallGroup should be removed from office. They were using personal devices and a commercial messaging app They were discussing official business, which I as also classified. They are trying to avoid official records keeping.

We need to recognize several things from the security breech written about in the Atlantic. One, it makes us unsafe. They are using Signal to avoid official accounting for their actions. Automatically set messages to delete it never happened. All their communications are this way.

I worry that people that need Heathcare don't have it. Those that have medicaid week lose it; Medicare may lose it or see huge increase in costs. And Social Security will disappear for those that really need it
