It was our first time going to one by ourselves. Luckily Blue absolutely killed it with the salesmen. So proud of him genuinely.

We're fine just currently cannot go anywhere without carpooling or ubering...we are in desperate need to find a car in a reasonable amount of time...literally living "when it rains it pours" right now...

RealColours (RC) @realcolours.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

Well Blue and I officially need a new car. Brakes completely busted after a small accident this morning. The brakes dont work at all anymore and since the car is almost 20 years old the part we need to fix it is discontinued...

I'm still growing as a producer and learning with each event, show, and more. And I'm so excited for what we have in store for the rest of September! Remember that this is only the first half of our Fun Drive. I hope to make everyone involved, watching, and subscribing proud.

RealColours (RC) @realcolours.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

I've been tasked with producing our Fun Drive over at Zeldathon. It's honestly been so much work but I feel its also been really rewarding to give back to an organization that I've been watching for over 11 years now. Literally cannot believe how far I've come.

Looking for new music recommendations, what do yall like?

221

RealColours (RC) @realcolours.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

I wont deny I will still eat anything Pikmin up since I love the series so much and love seeing it get any attention but as a fan this is disappointing.

010

RealColours (RC) @realcolours.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

There was so much potential to add more improvements to make it feel worth it. Literally still baffled its still locked at 30 fps. They could've updated the 2 player to feel like Pikmin 3 Deluxe. Made a respawning enemies option, ect.

110

RealColours (RC) @realcolours.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

The more I think, the more disappointed I am in this SW2E.

100

RealColours (RC) @realcolours.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Its so strange to me that its just a few months a part. Idk how game development works but hey thats better than P3R being like a year or two behind

120

RealColours (RC) @realcolours.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Oh absolutely. Although P4R actually releases on Switch 2 3 months late which confuses me. I was still shocked the last direct ended with KH4 and that Nintendo got the dibs to showcase it. I guess this just means I have to get more into 3rd party games to start feeling more excitement lol

110

RealColours (RC) @realcolours.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Im so desperate for a new Mario game 😭 Love Kirby tho, very excited and will be getting it day one

010

RealColours (RC) @realcolours.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

It isnt bad at all that we are getting so much 3rd party support. But when they are games that have been out for years now and show up its like "oh thats cool, glad its on Switch now" Same vibe for switch 2 upgrades. I think thats what's been my issue so far past few directs.

110

RealColours (RC) @realcolours.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

I think I know why I feel this way. Since the Switch 2's start there's been a LOT more focus on 3rd party support and switch 2 upgrades at these directs. I think because of that Nintendo doesnt feel a need to announce games nearly as far in advance as they used to meaning less 1st party trailers

100

RealColours (RC) @realcolours.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

They didnt even increase Pikmin 4's framerate I'm hearing? 🫠

000

RealColours (RC) @realcolours.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Decent direct. Still think these directs have been missing a spark that's been missing for a hot minute.
