But while the Trump administration can continue the program now, the court also said it would hear merits arguments in the case this December, adding a high profile immigration appeal involving the Trump administration to its docket. A decision is expected by July.

Exactly, that’s the accountability question. Congress can’t exercise meaningful oversight if it isn’t willing to be in session and do the work. When executive power is expanding, where are the lawmakers whose job is to provide oversight and demand answers?

Absolutely follow the money. Every political ad should make clear who paid for it, and voters deserve to know who is financing the message and what interests may be behind it. The accountability question is simple: why shouldn’t voters know who is spending millions to influence their vote?

Threatening to “annihilate” Iran at the U.N. while threatening Cuba is serious. The question is accountability: who challenges reckless rhetoric from the world stage, and who answers for the consequences? When will Congress demand answers from those making threats that could put lives at risk?

shouldn’t the public demand a clear accounting of who made these decisions, why they were made, and who benefits? This isn’t just about a name, it’s about accountability and the proper limits of power.

The Kennedy Center was created by Congress as a memorial to JFK. If changing its name requires congressional action, who decided the institution’s identity could be rewritten without Congress? And if public money and a national cultural institution are at stake,

History gives us a very clear warning: in 1933, Hitler’s government moved quickly to restrict press freedom, suppress publications, and bring journalists under state control. A free press is a fundamental check on government power. That’s precisely why attempts to weaken it deserve serious scrutiny.

Boris Sanchez @realborissanche.bsky.social · 21/09/2026
That’s an interesting idea. The bigger question is whether voters are hearing enough about who’s funding these campaigns and what those donors want in return. Political advertising is everywhere, but how often do we actually follow the money behind it? What do you think voters should be asking?

Nearly 900 mentions of Biden in 2026 and counting. At this rate, the number will keep climbing before Election Day. At some point, voters deserve to hear about the administration’s plans for the country today, rather than another round of blame for the administration that left office.

Political loyalty and the power Trump gives lawmakers may explain why many keep backing him.But 38% is only a snapshot, not a forecast. Congress will be shaped by turnout, candidates, issues, and voters. Every election deserves close attention. The outcome remains uncertain until votes are counted.!

I don't doubt banks, but I don't blindly trust anyone either. If a bank flagged serious concerns involving a powerful political figure, that's a story worth investigating. The press should follow the evidence wherever it leads. No president should be Teflon-coated.

Birthright citizenship is rooted in the 14th Amendment, and any effort to narrow it through executive action is certain to face intense legal scrutiny. Changes to such a fundamental constitutional protection should be debated openly and ultimately resolved through the courts, not unilateral action.

Many Americans see a double standard in congressional oversight. If lawmakers demand accountability, it should apply regardless of which party controls the White House. Consistency not selective scrutiny is what strengthens public trust in democratic institutions.
000
Boris Sanchez @realborissanche.bsky.social · 06/08/2026
The criticism isn't about personality, it's about priorities. When policies are seen as favoring billionaires over working Americans, public trust erodes. Voters deserve transparency, accountability, and leaders who put the public interest ahead of wealthy insiders.

Boris Sanchez @realborissanche.bsky.social · 06/08/2026
The comparison captures a concern about obedience to authority. The lesson many draw from the Milgram experiments is that people should question orders that conflict with ethics or the law. Democratic institutions depend on independent judgment, accountability, and the courage to say "no."

History has always been full of uncertainty, but that doesn't mean we should accept chaos as inevitable. The difference today is that we have the knowledge and tools to learn from past mistakes. Awareness, accountability, and civic engagement are how societies avoid falling over the edge.

Boris Sanchez @realborissanche.bsky.social · 06/08/2026
Congressional oversight is a necessary part of democracy, but it must be conducted with fairness, evidence, and respect for due process. History has shown the danger of turning investigations into political weapons. Accountability matters, but so does protecting institutions from partisan abuse.
010
Boris Sanchez @realborissanche.bsky.social · 06/08/2026
The contrast has always been striking. Whatever your politics, scientific expertise and decades of public health experience deserve serious engagement not political theater. Congressional oversight is important, but it should be grounded in facts, evidence, and good-faith questioning.

Boris Sanchez @realborissanche.bsky.social · 06/08/2026
Selective outrage fuels public distrust. Powerful people in politics, finance, and media should all face the same scrutiny. If credible evidence points to corruption, follow it wherever it leads without fear, favoritism, or double standards.
010
Boris Sanchez @realborissanche.bsky.social · 06/08/2026
My take on this.If credible evidence exists, it deserves front-page attention and rigorous investigation regardless of who's in office. The public shouldn't have to rely on scattered reports to learn about allegations this serious. Equal scrutiny is essential to a free press and a healthy democracy.

Many Americans believe institutions fell short in responding to January 6, while others disagree. What's clear is that democracy depends on leaders willing to uphold the Constitution and the rule of law, even when it's politically difficult. Accountability delayed can deepen public distrust.

Boris Sanchez @realborissanche.bsky.social · 06/08/2026
Alright that from your point of view.

Boris Sanchez @realborissanche.bsky.social · 04/08/2026
Parties should absolutely debate policy, but every broad coalition has limits. The real test isn't ideological purity, it's whether members remain committed to democratic norms, the Constitution, and the rule of law. Those are the core principles that hold any coalition together.
100
Boris Sanchez @realborissanche.bsky.social · 04/08/2026
Absolutely. More than one thing can be true at the same time. Recognizing complexity isn't weakness ,it's honest. But a functioning democracy still depends on accountability, the rule of law, and respect for institutions. Chaos isn't a governing strategy.
110
Boris Sanchez @realborissanche.bsky.social · 04/08/2026
The Democratic coalition has always been a big tent. Disagreements are visible because it's a diverse party, not a monolith. Debate isn't weakness , it's part of democracy. The challenge isn't ideological variety; it's turning shared values into effective action and results.

Boris Sanchez @realborissanche.bsky.social · 04/08/2026
If that theory were true, we'd expect broad evidence that displaced American workers are rapidly filling those jobs. The reality is more complicated. Labor markets, wages, working conditions, and employer demand all shape who takes which jobs. Simple slogans rarely match economic reality.

For years, locals and human rights advocates warned that many intercepted or targeted were ordinary fishermen, not traffickers. If the evidence now confirms innocent people were killed, there must be a full accounting. Counterdrug operations cannot come at the expense of innocent lives.
101
Boris Sanchez @realborissanche.bsky.social · 04/08/2026
If the evidence shows innocent fishermen were killed during counternarcotics operations, that's not collateral to ignore it demands a full, transparent investigation. National security and human rights aren't mutually exclusive. Accountability matters, especially when lives are lost.

Boris Sanchez @realborissanche.bsky.social · 04/08/2026
That observation reflects a real democratic risk: when dishonesty becomes normalized, public trust erodes. A healthy democracy depends on transparency, accountability, and leaders who tell the truth. Once deception is expected, institutions not just reputations begin to weaken.
000
Boris Sanchez @realborissanche.bsky.social · 04/08/2026
If those allegations are accurate, they demand rigorous scrutiny not partisan reflexes. The Attorney General's duty is to uphold the law impartially. Public trust depends on transparency, accountability, and a confirmation process that fully examines the facts before any vote.
001
Boris Sanchez @realborissanche.bsky.social · 04/08/2026
If a law is rebranded after the fact, it's fair to ask why. Voters deserve straight answers about what elected officials supported and how they describe those votes today. Accountability starts with transparency, not marketing. Facts matter more than slogans.
000
Boris Sanchez @realborissanche.bsky.social · 04/08/2026
You're not imagining the pattern. Sensational claims grab headlines, and even when they're disproven, the misinformation often lingers. That's why evidence, accountability, and fact-based reporting matter. The truth shouldn't have to fight so hard to catch up.

Boris Sanchez @realborissanche.bsky.social · 04/08/2026
You're not imagining the pattern. Outrageous claims grab attention, and when they're later debunked, the damage is already done. That's why facts, evidence, and accountability matter. Gaslighting only works if people stop questioning the narrative.

Three months from today, Americans decide more than seats, they decide the direction of our democracy. Accountability belongs at the ballot box. If you believe in honesty, decency, and the rule of law, make your voice heard. History is written by those who show up and vote.

Free speech isn't partisan, it's foundational. When courts uphold First Amendment protections, they reinforce the rules that allow democracy to function. Today's ruling is a reminder that constitutional rights deserve defending, regardless of who benefits politically.

If this trend continues, South Carolina could have a genuinely competitive Senate race. Polls aren't votes, but they can signal shifting voter sentiment. No seat belongs to any politician forever. Every election is earned, and voters not incumbents have the final say.

When national holidays become centered on personalities, they risk deepening divisions instead of strengthening unity. The best leaders remind us that the country comes first and that public service is about serving the people , not becoming the main attraction.

I understand your concern, and I think many Americans feel the same. Independence Day should be a celebration of the nation's founding principles, not a showcase for any individual leader. The flag, the Constitution, and the freedoms we honor belong to every citizen, regardless of political party.

to hold them accountable, then the system isn't serving those who need it most. Addressing homelessness and the housing crisis requires more than promises,it demands strong oversight, public accountability, and policies that put affordable housing and vulnerable people ahead of financial interests.

If true, that's concerning. A president should hear honest advice, not constant praise. Leaders make better decisions when challenged by facts and diverse viewpoints, not surrounded by an echo chamber that reinforces only what they want to hear.
