What we call “far-left, progressive ideas” today were, not so long ago, standard bread-and-butter Democratic policies, from Roosevelt to Johnson. These policies were seen as hard-won rights in every field. We were growing up. So now we’re just clawing back what is rightfully ours. Not so radical.

Just for the record and those whose memories are short: Biden did an excellent with domestic policy, wrangling close Congressional votes to pull us back Trump 1’s mess. We had the strongest economy in the world. His foreign policy not so much, and his admin’s handling of treason was a disaster.
