closed my post, I'm getting DM'd by a ton of people sending me AI stuff, I can't sort that out. I'll find an artist my way by looking through my community and seeing people with portfolios that are older than a few years. Sorry about all the ones I couldn't sort through that may have had real art.

A quick glance at my older posts would have been sufficient to realize that I'm an artist and can recognize AI generated stuff right away, no thanks

Nothing crazy, unsure for the menus as of now but I got a dialogue system with current & past messages that needs probably a box and a background, I'm gonna animate some blinking arrows for next/back, it can also load avatars for characters speaking to each other so I'll end up boxing these, too

Realistically if I'm paying someone to do this, I'd like to have a properly finished level + all features that go with it first, so whoever I'm commissioning would be looking at drawing some BGs like I did here with paralax, a bunch of platforms, character animations, UIs

Video looks like total garbage but I spent most of the time on a character with an idle animation lel No engine, I'm making my own

You're probably more on point than you imagine, it's as if those dorks haven't realized the organic beings are supposed to use different matters so they can reproduce.... and there's mechanically always a better way to do a specific way than imitate nature, which is why we make cars lol

Reddit isn't a top result in my case though. I have to add it to the search, it's especially important in hardware reviews. If you look for a headset, Google or ddg will get you 3000 top 10 sites, reddit will tell you how long it took to break it.

So far I have variable resolution, a following camera with a dead zone for the character and locks for level bounds, handle vsync, got game logic completely independent of framerate, with acceleration, decceleration etc. I have a collision system but have not tested it yet

I have finished that dragon's face but made the mistake to decide on a lavender field in the background and the lighting/shading colors don't match what I have in mind. I will need to address this later. Background is a WIP, I want to fill it with lavender.

I have finished the head and neck and I'm doing the shirt. Although I'm not sold on the color yet... But it does not matter a whole lot because I can just change the color later. I have a few different ideas for it. I'm gonna finish drawing it first though BG after!
