And here we are at the end of #TheSealeyChallenge / the #sealeychallenge. I had a lot of fun doing the challenge for the first time! I see the benefits of reading full books, but I did *really* enjoy seeking out poems that fit the bingo categories and meeting new poets and poems that way!
A photo of a sheet of paper with the 2026 #SealeyChallenge at the top and 24 prompts with one free space. Each of the boxes with a prompt has a handwritten title and author of one poem; the boxes are all crossed out with pink or yellow highlighter.

I know, I know, phone photos of the moon are the worst, but I was excited about being able to see the eclipse before the misty clouds moved in!!! 🌙

Week 2 of The Sealey Challenge complete! This week I chose Bingo (which ended up being a ton of fun!) and filled in about half of the squares: #SealeyChallenge #TheSealeyChallenge
A Bingo Sheet for the 2026 Sealey Challenge. There are 25 squares naming specific challenges such as "Poem dedicated to someone" and "Poem ending in joy." About half of the bingo sheet is filled out with handwritten names of poems and authors.

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! I wouldn't have missed it for the world (and didn't). An enthusiastic full house, too.

Shocking that Chicago 10 (2007) wasn't picked by ANYONE yet?! It is VASTLY (V A S T L Y) superior to the 2020 film that some people chose (wrongly). Anyway here's my sincere opinion and NOT a meme:
My top 10 movies of the last 25 years for the NYTimes Poll: BlacKKKlansman, Chicago 10, Cold War, Dunkirk, Nomadland, Saint Omer, Sound of Metal, The Green Knight, Tree of Life, Zone of Interest
