Becky @readsallthings.bsky.social · 30/09/2026Nearly done with my Paladin. Again, this is an old metal mini from the early 2000s that I had put off painting for fear of messing him up. It is a miracle I've kept up with his shield for 20+ years. #dndmini #paintingminiatures #miniaturepainting 062
Becky @readsallthings.bsky.social · 11/09/2026My future son-in-law asked if we could manage a sword in the dice (stone) accessory for wedding boutonnieres. Here is my first go at making some. #dndwedding #d20 151
Becky @readsallthings.bsky.social · 10/09/2026I could not leave the red dragon alone and did some more layers trying to add a little more depth. #dndmini #miniaturepainting 0111
Becky @readsallthings.bsky.social · 05/09/2026I am still working on this storm giant. I may set him aside a bit and focus on something else for a while. I am struggling with his cloud shield right now. Although, I did get some neon paints in to attempt glowy stuff soon. #dndmini #paintingminiature #miniaturepainting 051
Becky @readsallthings.bsky.social · 30/08/2026When I was little, my dad bought me kid workbooks to study math, science, and writing. I thought these were so fun, like puzzle books and they came with stickers too. I never grew out of enjoying workbooks. I am in my 40s now and still being curious, although I have to buy my own stickers now. 010
Becky @readsallthings.bsky.social · 28/08/2026Last night, I finished the Red Dragon for my husband's campaign. I used it as an opportunity to practice blending. I think I did alright, but I still have a ways to go. #dndmini #paintingminiature #miniaturepainting 041
Becky @readsallthings.bsky.social · 21/08/2026The storm giant is slow going, but I'm still making progress. I keep hesitating on trying to do the glowy lightening. #dndmini #miniaturepainting #paintingminiature 041
Becky @readsallthings.bsky.social · 11/08/2026I added base color to the storm giant. This took a bit of time, but I am happy with the dark blue I mixed. I plan to watch some how-to videos to figure out how best to approach adding depth and layering colors. #dndminiatures #miniaturepainting #paintingminiatures 021
Becky @readsallthings.bsky.social · 10/08/2026Obsessed with fantasy maps and tabletop campaign writing. Right now, I am all in on creating things in miniature, painting miniatures, and hand drawing maps! Here is the first map I created with India ink and coffee. 030
Becky @readsallthings.bsky.social · 08/08/2026Back from a trip finally and decided to go ahead and prime a group of minis today. Some my husband printed and some were store bought. I have a few in here that are the old pewter ones as well. #dndminiatures #paintingminis #miniaturepainting #ttrpg 051
Becky @readsallthings.bsky.social · 30/07/2026#hobbystreak day 4. The print is rough with shallow gaps. I decided to pack in the gaps with a PVA glue mixture I made a long time ago. It may peel or turn yellow, but I thought it was worth a go. I am not stressed about it since I feel more free experimenting with painting techniques on it. 110
Becky @readsallthings.bsky.social · 29/07/2026#hobbystreak Day 3. My husband printed a frost giant for me and I got it all trimmed up. I still need to smooth out some of the wonky print lines. I am debating on how I want to approach that. #paintingminiatures #dnd #miniaturepainting 360
Becky @readsallthings.bsky.social · 28/07/2026#hobbystreak day 2. I added some layers. I also realized today that my hobby streak will be short this round as I have to go on a plane soon and am unable to take all my paints and minis. I will try to continue to sketch and write on my trip though. #ttrpg #dnd #paintingminiatures #minipainting 092
Becky @readsallthings.bsky.social · 26/07/2026I saw the #hobbystreak and would like to have a go too! Today is Day 1. I picked out this pewter figure I bought years ago (20 yrs?). She is a favorite and I've been afraid I'd mess her up. But I am trying to be less precious with my items. #paintingminiatures #ttrpg #miniaturepainting 192
Becky @readsallthings.bsky.social · 25/07/2026My first painted mini. It is a bit of a hot mess, but I had fun and want to keep practicing. My husband printed it and the support bits were really messy, so that is why the figure is kind of scraggly too. #paintingminiatures #dnd #dungeonsanddragons #minifig 0222
Becky @readsallthings.bsky.social · 20/07/2026I finished the last miniature kit I had. It was Kiki's Magic Emporium by Rolife. Now onto personal projects. I am thinking of getting into scratch building or trash bashing for tabletop games. Maybe even learn to paint minis. More to come. #rolifeminiatures #miniaturekit #miniatures 050
Becky @readsallthings.bsky.social · 17/07/2026I have become addicted to miniatures. I have one more pre-made kit to complete and then I plan to get started on making my own creations. I have also been watching a lot of kitbashing videos and getting ideas. #diyminiaturekit #miniatures 030
Becky @readsallthings.bsky.social · 27/06/2026The more I work and game at my PC and the more AI keeps popping up everywhere, the more I need to create with my hands. Right now I'm working on a Flever coffee house miniature kit and I am firmly hooked on crafting miniatures. #madebyhand #disconnect #miniatures #dollhouse 071
Becky @readsallthings.bsky.social · 03/04/2026I am learning to draw and sometimes when I am feeling frustrated, I grab a free to use photo from Pexels and try to quickly scribble draw it. It helps me remember to relax. This scribble draw is based on a photo by Kübra Çetin. 030
Becky @readsallthings.bsky.social · 02/04/2026Drawback of being left-handed and working with a smudgy pen. 010
Becky @readsallthings.bsky.social · 01/04/2026I went hiking with my brother, @samjray105.bsky.social who loves photography and I mentioned I'd love some pictures of rock walls. I wanted some references to practice my ink drawing with and he delivered! ❤️ Thank you Sam! 250

Becky @readsallthings.bsky.social · 29/03/2026The oldest kitty, Róta, in the house gets whatever she wants. Currently, her favorite bed is this storage lid, even though she has multiple fluffy pillows and beds. This lid has been in the kitchen for a month now. 250
