Families are paying more to travel, because of a war they didn’t start and don’t support. The Liberal Democrats are calling for an emergency transport package to cut costs and keep Britain moving by road and rail. 👉 Sign the petition and back the plan: www.libdems.org.uk/news/article...

1) Reduce fuel duty by 10%, saving you 12p per litre at the pump.
2) Slash bus fares to £1 per journey, from the current £3 cap.
3) Cut rail fares by 10%.

We see that Reform UK continues to be a retirement home for failed Conservatives, as erstwhile RBC Tory leader Clarence Mitchell defects to them. A shameful, if predictable, move for the former press spokesperson for Cambridge Analytica. We wonder how long his Ukraine lapel pin will last?

A sad day for many - his compassion will be missed. Our thoughts are with millions who are worried about what the future will hold, and whether their humanity will be celebrated or trampled by those in power. There is entirely too much trampling going on at the moment. Keep uplifting each other. 💛

Pope Francis' passing is a profound loss to millions across the world. He was a leader of compassion and courage, speaking up for those in need and calling for peace in a world too often divided.

His influence reached far beyond the Church. He offered hope by reminding us of the strength in kindness and faith.

We should remember his example: stand up for what's right, care for others, and hold onto compassion and hope.
