What a great turnout we had this week, and look how many songs we collected, some old, some new, and some self-penned. Some related directly to the theme and others linked to our theme (taken from the Robert Frost poem that started off the session!) as a metaphor for another type of travel.
List of songs shared at Readifolk on the theme "The Road Less Travelled." The list is set against a background of trees with a path curving between them. Here is the list: The Road Not Taken - poem, Lord Franklin, Tony Benn's Tribute to Emily Davison, Down By the Water, Poor Wayfaring Stranger, The Rocky Road to Dublin, The Aeroplane, Spout Lane - original reading, Peg and Awl (from the album The Road Less Travelled), Catch the Wind, Willing, Sullivan's John, Saddle your Horses and Canter Away, Songbird,Country Roads, A Thing of Flames - original, Old Maui, When A Man's In Love, Keep that Wheel a'Turning, Weary Winter, I Turned My Face to the Wind, La Isla Bonita, The Cornish , Time to Get in My Car - original reading, Walking On - original song, As I Walked Out One Evening Fair, Hopping Down in Kent, Rolling Sea, What Light is Made of - original, Fly Me to the Moon, Midnight Special, Going Down that Old Dusty Road - End of the list
