Absolutely! Annoyingly my NA version didn't have the Chemical Bros/Orbital licensed tracks, but Wipeout64 introduced me to Propellerheads so it evens out.

that's true. Alec kinda talked about this in his restoration of his (new to him) 200 wt hammer, that like these things built the things that built Britain, but now they are basically scrap due to the giant size, the equipment required to maintain them, and just pure globalization of things.

Finally saw Coyote vs ACME. It was so nice to see another fun movie that mixes animation and live action. Also the needle drop of RTJ's Nobody Speak where every swear was replaced with Roadrunner BEEPS made my week.

Mid-2024 they said it would likely release Q3/Q4 2026, which is what they were pushing for, but then GTA6 got a release date around there so Chris Roberts is pushing it to Q2 2027 to get away from the insane news cycle takeover it will create.

My college used 'Measurement and Detection of Radiation' by Nicholas Tsoulfanidis, which might be a good parallel. I don't have a copy of Knoll to compare and it may also may be getting more out of print, so other options may be preferable.

Annoying. Well if forcing the thermostat into debug mode won't work, and you aren't willing to start dismantling it, maybe taping a hand-warmer to the thermostat would work? Or see if the front desk will opt you out of their silly program.

Having an elderly dog that wants to go outside every few hours at night wouldn't normally be a problem, except for the additional issue that after I wake up I can't go back to sleep for at least an hour, usually two. Only getting two or three hours of sleep a night is not gonna end well for me.

Brian @reactorranger.bsky.social · 09/02/2026

It's possibly a regional thing? Some traditional El Salvador recipes put eggs into it for a thicker texture, or maybe they are putting like sour cream into it to make it last longer in the fridge? Either way this is very much a crime against food.

2/2 The workaround seems to be by going into paypal and marking all the transactions as delivered, and then assuming the donator accepts the request the funds can be released in a day. Beyond that it's like 7 days or 21 days....which isn't the most help in emergencies.
