Two days ago I found the Audyssey mic for my 2012 Onkyo receiver and decided to recalibrate my home theater system. Discovered I had miswired my left front speaker and it has been out of phase for ??? years! 😳😵‍💫🤦‍♀️. Corrected the wiring and now everything sounds wrong! 🤷‍♀️

People are telling Tim Cook stories. I got one. One year for SF Pride Tim was visiting with employees and their families before the parade. I got in line to say hi and he asked if I wanted a photo. I said no, I just wanted to give him a hug. So we hugged and then took a photo.

This is Frankie. He is a very good boy. When the fence came down Frankie would hang around when I was out back so I started giving him treats. Last week the fence was repaired but they refused to make a Frankie window. Now treats go through a knothole and it feels dirty.

The amazing @lorak.bsky.social introduced me to Mori Point during the pandemic (even though I’d lived in the Bay Area forever.) And today I learned that’s where the final scene in Harold and Maude was filmed. RIP Bud Cort. Your work in this film remains unparalleled and a cherished memory.
