For the first time ever Juju got a toy out of the toy box and brought it to me to play.

Juju is an elderly Belgian Tervuren female dog colored mahogany and black. She’s holding a rainbow colored toy in her mouth and on a bed with blue sheets and a brown comforter.

Apparently, if you take Wisconsin, and add 30 years of Kentucky, you end up with Minnesota or California. (But I only got 50% of either). This does explain why I have trouble understanding people from Louisiana and Mississippi on the phone. mydialect.us/quiz-full.html

A dialect map of the United States, where the "most like me" areas are Northern Minnesota / Wisconsin, or Alaska, and the "least like me" is the Deep South and Maine.

Here’s my Hawke in chargen. The headshot is very pixelated so I am not bothering to post it.

Full pic of Hawke in the character generator. Not too different from the default, because I wanted her to look like her siblings. A little bit longer hair in a braid, but still black in color.

(Okay, I’m going to post some screenshots of Nalliel from the game. I like that it takes automatic screenshots because I never remember. I apologize in advance but my alt text will be brief. They’re not very exciting and they are just screenshots.)

Our young rattles. Not everyone’s cup of tea but I think they’re cute.

Swooping is bad. (Going through the game screenshots to see if there are any decent ones of my character.)

Here are some bad photos of the rats. They are still in hiding and running away mode.

Probably the last in my series about my Garou #OC / #NPC is Jacob “Grim-Scowl”. Art by @brushwolf.bsky.social . Jacob is a rank 4 Get of Fenris ahroun. At the beginning of the Chronicle, Jacob and his pack live in Milwaukee and are part of the sept there, but later they move to Winter Night …

Traditional art. A bust of an older brown-haired man with long hair and a full beard. He is balding and has brown eyes. He has a long scar covering his face from the top right of his head to the bottom left. He's wearing a red shirt and has a firm expression.

Another in my series of Garou #OC / #NPC posts (I’m almost done I think, unless I get bored) is Night-Spirit. Art by @brushwolf.bsky.social . Night-Spirit is an elder Theurge of the W*ndigo / Galestalker tribe. (Aside: I have conflicting feelings about the tribal name changes in W5*). In 1986, he …

Traditional art of the bust of a wolf. Poorly made a PNG by me leaving extra lines that I should fix but my Mac doesn't really work anymore. Anyway, the wolf is gray-furred with brown/red markings on the muzzle, ears, and shoulder.

Okay, I have another Garou #OC / #NPC to talk about today. I’m not going to mention all of them I don’t think, just the “major” players. These are characters who are front and center to the Chronicle regardless of the PCs. This is Sam “Severe-Tire-Damage”. Art by @brushwolf.bsky.social .

Sam is a blonde woman with short hair and a cigarette behind her ear. She has a short earring. She's wearing a black tank top and a green surplus Army jacket with a smiley-face button on it. Ignore the misplaced lines, that's my messed up attempt to make a transparent PNG from scanned art.

Another #OC / #NPC, and another Garou. A pretty one, like I promised yesterday. This is Caitlin “Sings-the-Old-Songs”. (Art by @brushwolf.bsky.social) If you know anything about Werewolf: the Apocalypse you are unsurprised she is a Fianna. She is beautiful, intelligent and, annoyingly, very nice.

Art of a freckled pale-skinned woman with long red hair and green eyes.

Okay, today I'm back with another #OC / #NPC. I'm taking a slight detour while staying in the World of Darkness. This is Inanna (art by @alexboakeillo.bsky.social) and she is a changeling, though she calls herself a jinn (specifically a lilin). I originally designed her as a love interest for a PC…

Inanna in her fae mein. She is a beautiful woman with long dark hair and a SW Asian appearance. She loves jewelry and wears a number of necklaces, bracelets, and bangles, as well as a septum piercing. Her pointed ears are also pierced. She also wears a black corset and tight black dress. Her sharp nails are colored black as well. On her cheeks and shoulders she has pearlescent scales. She has red eyes, and matching spiral horns and a pair of red bat-like wings, giving her overall a demonic appearance.

Okay, next werewolf. This Garou is Michael “Call-of-Falcon”, though I think I’m going to slightly change his deed name next time I run the game. He is a rank 4 Galliard (basically a bard) of the Silver Fangs. The Fangs are the leaders/nobles of the werewolves. Art again by @brushwolf.bsky.social .

Art of the bust of handsome bearded man with long, brown hair.

Okay, in today's Derek's #OC / #NPC, I'm going back to a Garou (werewolf) from the Sept of the Winter Night. This is Cursor, a Glass Walker Elder Ragabash (art by @brushwolf.bsky.social ). He got to elder faster than most of his peers, because, frankly, it's easier to rank up as a ragabash.

Okay, I did the Sorter thing for #MassEffect. (I don't think I can do Dragon Age no matter how much I like the setting because I haven't finished all the games). Anyway, this rating is about how much I like the characters, not who I romance or bring on missions.

Ranking Mass Effect Squadmates image with pictures of:

1. Liara T'Soni
2. EDI
3. Mordin Solus
4. Urdnot Wrex
5. Tali'Zorah vas Normandy
6. Urdnot Grunt
7. Jack (Jacqueline Nought)
8. Legion
9. Garrus Vakarian
10. Kasumi Goto

…for a metis. She takes her role as a Philodox very seriously. When she was younger, she was in a pack with Kelly who followed Unicorn and called themselves Mystery, Inc. Here’s a picture of that pack, from the mid-80s. Art by @theladyauri.bsky.social .

Okay, I’m going to do one more #OC / #NPC Garou from my Werewolf game for now. (There are ~25 Garou I could talk about from the PCs’ sept.) Crystal Shakes-the-Earth is a metis Philodox rank 3 Black Fury. The Furies tribe defend and protect women, girls, and the Wyld. Art by @brushwolf.bsky.social .

Art of a very stern looking werewolf, perspective from the bottom looking up at her.

Another one of my Garou (werewolf) #OCs / #NPCs is named Stands-Firm-Against-the-Wyrm though most everyone just calls her “Stands”. She is a lupus Garou, which means she was born a wolf. At the beginning of the Chronicle she is 12 years old; (art by @brushwolf.bsky.social )

A drawing of a large black wolf facing the viewer, with yellow eyes.

Okay, I have been convinced by myself to start an #OC #NPC thread. I’m going to start with two diametrically opposed characters who will never meet. First is Kelly “Whispers-to-Spirits”. She is a Garou (werewolf) from the WoD. She is a Theurge and a Child of Gaia. Art by @brushwolf.bsky.social .

A colored drawing of Kelly, done by @brushwolf.bsky.social. She js white, and blonde, and wearing a red shirt, and of average appearance. She is wearing gold earrings.

Also I can’t lie down because Juju is there and she’s not one of those dogs who gets out of your way.

Juju is a mahogany and black Belgian Tervuren. She is lying on my feet on a brown blanket. She is very tired and cute and won’t move.

Thanks. I like it a lot. Unfortunately the artist and I are not on speaking terms anymore and I don’t know what she goes by anymore. Here’s another from the same sticker set.
