Good point. Many attempts to treat enact a "personal property tax" have failed. Why are real estate holdings any different than a portfolio of stocks and bonds? The US stock market holds a combined value of 70 trillion dollars. Any such tax would have to be at the national level, though.

"Denazification" was done in Germany after WWII. Major regime hubs in Berlin including the headquarters of the Gestapo, SS offices, etc. were completely razed. In Munich, structures from the Nazi period were promptly bulldozed to purge reminders of the regime. We will need a #Detrumpification asap.
