#LastFourWatched #LetterboxdFriday I decided to watch good movies this week it looks like! Barely missing the weekly cutoff was Forgotten Island at 5 stars. Rope was fine, interesting technically but it failed to come together as a satisfying narrative film for me. Sisu rocked! Fuck em up, granpa!

my last 4 watched:

digger - 4 stars - heart
sisu - 4 stars
rope - 3.5 stars
bride of frankenstein - 5 stars - heart

Happy #LetterboxdFriday #Letterboxd people! #LastFourWatched! A rather rough week in the theater for me, and a light week of movie watching generally. I found myself thinking "I HOPE this Hope movie ends soon!" and Resident Evil just didn't really click for me as a movie. MST3k ruled though.

my last four watch

Resident Evil 2026 - 2 stars
Hope - 1.5 stars
MST3k Sting of death - 5 stars, a heart
Beauty and the Beast live action - 4 stars

Got my new gravel bike set up and rode it into work for the first time this morning. It's a lot of fun but it's definitely more work than the e-bike. No idea which I'll be riding more going forward, the gravel has become what I WANT to ride the most but it's still brand new.

a trek checkpoint alr4 in living coral color, it's a reddish-orange.

the water bottle cages and pedals are orange.

a small big sits right behind the handlebar channel (it has a battery to charge my phone during rides) and there's a quadlock mount attached to the center.

two large paniers hang off the back, one from either side. they're unfilled in the picture.

there's a rear light and a front light attached to the bike.

Pleasant sunrise along the bike trail this morning. This angle really appealed to me, so I stopped the bike to line up a really nice shot - something I'd never have done if I were driving a car instead. Love being more present because I'm on a bike instead of in a car.

a sunrise over a water storm drainage system in Tulsa, OK. two rows of power lines extent into the far distance, and the orange-pink clouds lightly cover the sky. trees and clouds are reflected in the water in the foreground. sprinklers in the distance water a field.

Happy #LetterboxdFriday! What's YOUR #LastFourWatched? All bangers from me this week too. Caught Buddy in an AMC Scream Unseen, it's great existentialist, absurdist horror. When I learned it's by the Too Many Cooks directory Iwas not at all surprised. Clue slaps, RIP Tim Curry <3

Happy #LetterboxdFriday! What's YOUR #LastFourWatched? All over the place this week. Civil War (2024) started off okay but ended with a real bang. The end is tense as hell on a nice surround sound system. Korean Kanakaraju was... not for me. I like the dance number, dislike the anti-Korean stuff.
