RCPI is a proud member of the newly launched Coalition Against Sunbeds. Approximately 120,000 people in Ireland use sunbeds. Sunbed-use dramatically increases a person’s risk of developing melanoma. The risk is increased by 75% for people who use sunbeds before the age of 35.
