Last week, we met with Maryam Irfan, for an upcoming event, on 3.06.2026. Right To Food UK Commission is gathering voices of the marginalised communities, such as our Romanian community, and we are proud to be the only organisation that has so far committed to be participating in the consultation.

We were all extatic to receive a letter in the post from King Charles III addressed to “Everyone at RCCT CIC” 💙💛❤️ We are humbled by His Majesty’s kindness in sending us a letter addressed to ALL OF US, volunteers& community members. Thank you for your gesture, Your Majesty!

An insight into the King’s character comes not only from his passion for sustainability and harmony with nature (see documentary “Finding Harmony: A King’s Vision”) but also from his personal connection with communities and support for combatting food waste and poverty by joining forces with The Felix Project-our main sponsors for Tuesday’s #FoodHub. But that support extends to the people as well. 🇷🇴🇬🇧

The monarch has been known for his passion for saving the planet and creating environments more in tune with nature, a passionate approach to promoting positive change. And we are witnessing that change. We are forever grateful, and it gives us hope that the world can become a better place if it starts with any of us. This means that the more we give our time or resources to the issues we care about, the more others will give in return. In that way, one person's actions can really change the world for the better.
