A bus of Bronx middle schoolers pulled up to the Capitol this morning for a long-planned field trip just a few hours after the government shut down. All Capitol tours were cancelled as the guides can’t work in shutdown. So I escorted them in myself and gave them a personal tour. They were great!

I think my biggest problem with Arcane S2 is that it throws away literally all of the most compelling pieces of the plot from Season 1, and then REFUSES (aggressively, I might add) to have any discussion about the sociopolitical conflict that was the main driving factor of the story #arcane

I have no issue with romantasy. There is a dedicated shelf specifically for it in my wife and I's home library. What I have an issue with is the total reduction of popular fantasy into loosely strung together tropes that are incapable of telling their own stories.
