Uy, a mí ayer me tocó Zapdos y hoy este pollo chamusquina.

razim.bsky.social @razim.bsky.social · 08/11/2024

Left 4 Dead cover art. A hand without a thumb as it was bitten off.

Left 4 Dead 2 cover art. Similar to the Left 4 Dead one, but now the hand whis two fingers up

Bayonetta cover art. Bayonetta points her guns to the camera while several angels surrounds her.

Tales of Symphonia art. Four anime style characters looks either to the camera or the sky while holding their weapons at hand. Theres a dragon and diferent characters in the back formed by clouds.

The Hex. Six hands reach towards the title like its a ouija board.

Half-Life 2 cover. The protagonist looks intently to the camera

Final Fantasy VII. Cloud's holding his sword while looking to an enormous building

Final Fantasy VIII. Leon holding his sword before his face.

Heaven's Vault cover art. The protagonist looks ar camera while an alien text glows on the back.

The Walking Dead Final Season cover art. Clementine holds an axe with her right hand while she's holding a kid's hand with her other hand

Get to know my shame (shame is crossed) Steam backlog
1 like = 1 game I own but have never played

Noah: He dormido poquísimo por culpa del Persona y encima he acabado perdiendo el progreso por culpa del Segador. Also Noah:

Meme de Goofy con ojos de loco y gorra manchada de sangre diciendo "I'll fuckin do it again"

It had been a long time since I needed to use external forces to get all the juice out of a game. I won't be saying much about the method, but opening the door on top of the mountain was one of the purest and most rewarding sensations I've got out of a game ever (yeah, even soulsborne games).

Tunic's cover art. An antropomorphic fox raises his sword and shield.
He's wearing a green tunic and he's standing on a forest.

This may not be the best game of its genre, may not be the best Pokémon game, but this little cartridge was my whole world while in primary school. I didn't even finished the whole story (I never got the Fly TM) but I probably spent more time in here than in any other portatile game ever.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Red Rescue Team cover art. Charmander, Cyndaquil, Torchic, Meowth and Magnemite are trapped in a cave while Medicham and Ekans' and Charizard's shadows loom menacingly over them.

I find this game hard to enter, I started it three times before truly engaging with it, but boy, is it fulfilling when you're in Disco Elysium is definitely in my top three games of all time, a story-driven game set on a massive and dense world where the MC doesnt even remember his name. Masterpiece

Disco ELysium cover art. Two detectives look at camera, one with a flashlight (Kim Kitsuragi), the other with a gun (The main character). Behind them there's a equestrian statue with a drunk main character on top of it.

Here comes mah boy, Zagreus. Hades had to be here, this game made wonders using the roguelite formula, Supergiant Games created a whole cast of amazing designs for every single character and they paired it with a great storytelling and a compelling gameplay, I can't wait for Hades 2 to fully release

Hades cover art. Zagreus holding his sword and a solidified bllod crystal looks at camera while stepping on a skelleton.

Psychonauts is the game that showed me not to judge a book by its cover, it has a peculiar art direction and old controls, but the story and mood of this game made me play some older gems and I won't regret it ever. I'd also say that I love its focus in mental health (specially in its sequel).

Psychonauts cover art. Razputin looks at the camera while focusing (Professor Xavier style). The background is a psychodelic mess with other characters from the game.

I can't say anything that hasn't been said already about this game beyond the conection I felt with my friends when we were all playing together while making theories through Discord. I have a notebook where I would write anything peculiar I found or theories I wanted to talk my friends about.

Elden Ring's cover art. A great golden rune is depicted in the sky while a knight kneels before it with his sword to the soil.

The Banner Saga is one of my favorite games (even tho I havent played the rest of the saga), it has a hauntingly beauty BSO and art direction. Even so, those aspects pale when confronted with its dark but hopeful story.

The Banner Saga cover art. A man and his daughter under a tree, sewing a giant banner. The man is leaning on his axe and a crow is perched on the tree. An army marches on the scenery

My sister bought this game for PC when I was in high school, its atmosphere got me from the beginning. It's probably the reason why I love RPGs and know english nowadays. I'll be eternally thankful to BioWare for this game.

Dragon Age Origins title screen. Ochre sky over an abandoned battlefield.

Let's try some more of these trends

Get to know my game taste. For every like, I will post one game I love.

you vs the game you're currently playing

Metaphor ReFantazio cover art. The protagonist sits on a big library while reading a golden book. A cat sits at his side while his sword rests by his other side. Gallica, her fairy friend looks at the camera for the floor.

Quote reply with your 4 favorite anime!

Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood cover art. Edward and Alphonse Elric sitting on ruins while looking at camera.

Dungeon Meshi's first season cover art, depicting Laios, Chilchunk, Marcille, Senshi and a bunch of other monsters running from a red dragon.

Attack on Titan first season cover art. Eren Jeager on a burning city looking towards the Colossal Titan

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Diamond is Unbreakable cover art.
A cenital view of Morioh while Koichi, Okuyashu and Jotaro look towards Josuke posing.

STOP! If you see this, you must post 4 favorite characters from 4 different series!

Ben Wyatt from Parks & Recreation saying "No, of course, yeah. I'll just put on my Star Wars pajamas and sit in my mom's basement and pour over some spreadsheets. It sounds great" sarcastically. Just to realize he's really invested on that plan.

Stephen Stills from Scott Pilgrim having a nervous breakdown because of his imposter syndrome.

The Doctor (Peter Capaldi) from Doctor Who talking to a child, being the most badass character ever. The captions says "And if they ask you who I am, tell them I came the long way 'round."

Ted Lasso from Ted Lasso, pointing a sign that reads Believe.

Let's try things I wouldn't do on the other social media.

I grew up reading about Sherlock Holmes and Miss Marple, but I think my favorite fictional detective as of late is the main character of Disco Elysium, he went on a massive blender and doesn't remember even his name, but he's immersed on a very complex political investigation. Its an amazing story.
