I'd have to say Simon's Quest. Not because it's a great game but because of how it brought a small group of us together in elementary school. For weeks, we'd chat during recess to share updates on our progress, tips and ticks, until we all beat the game. This was before any of us had Nintendo Power.

This past weekend was a mix of disappointment and gratitude. For the past few months, I’d been building toward finishing a 70-mile (7K ft of climbing) gravel event with two good friends. We ended up riding 40 miles after a wrong turn took us back to the start. Still, I loved the experience!

We need to stop defaulting to “learn Unity or Unreal” as catch-all advice for breaking into games. Not everyone wants to be a dev. Take the time to understand their goals—then give specific, relevant guidance and invite follow-up.

I finally decided to skip the car and ride the bike to work this morning. Loved it!

Mine is when they keep delaying in 30 minute chunks. A few hours later they surprise everyone saying there is a "gate change" and boarding is starting right away. The chaos that follows is like a scene in an 80's comedy, complete with yelling and high tempo music.

A former Gannett colleague and friend dropped by the office for a visit. She's a big fan of our game and surprised us with a gift. It's a tiny Echoes of Elysium airship in a bottle!
