iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

In other news, been fighting a bit of a cough. I’m not feeling sick, but my body seems to believe so. Thankfully, I’m mostly resting and drinking plenty of water along with catching it early.

But in all seriousness, I can’t wait to go back to when cards were plentiful and you don’t have to worry about them being out of stock. Might take a few more years, but at least, I have cheaper backup options.

000

Had a monster of a line forming outside where I currently work. No surprise as to why those people were there. 🙃

That’s honestly one hell of a choice. Doubt he is aware of the irony of the situation. 😑

000

…mostly due to factors beyond one’s control.

000

As a related aside, I have considered posting one of my WIP web novels on Tapas to start with. Turns out that’s sadly not going be an option. I’ll look into other alternatives obviously, but still, it’s hard not to feel frustrated that options are becoming limited…

My heart goes out to the creatives who post their work on there, and are sadly now scrambling to try to find a new home for their webcomic or web novel. It just sucks all around.

000

I must have these three! 🤩

000

That was both shockingly quick and not surprising at the same time.

010

I wasn’t, even when I saw the trailer before the Odyssey. It just looked unappealing to me. So I can’t say I was all that surprised at the current reception it’s getting.

010

So far, I’m still tweaking Izuku and Bakugo’s designs. I’m happy with Shoto’s design (will share the sketches soon). Still figuring out Ochaco and Himiko’s designs. And I have some ideas to play with for the rest.

000

In other and better news, finally and slowly getting my act together and plotting out a few mini-comics for my own MHA Dragon AU. Plus figuring out dragon types & designs for everyone other than the Wonder Duo.

I’m aware that I’m not saying anything new, but I’ll gladly say that I greatly miss the days where Google was actually useful and not broken by unnecessary AI garbage.

Apologies for another rant, I hope to post other things soon, I promise. Is it just me or has trying to search for ANYTHING on Google feels like pulling teeth nowadays? Tried to look up some information on something, and came with nothing of substance.

…Just to state the obvious, there’s nothing “super intelligent” going on here. You can’t make this stuff up. Plus no matter what new (and boring) name they choose, it’s still AI.

Bob Ross would be disappointed in your AI Generated Slop.

Though if there’s a bright side, at least I’m starting to draw in my sketchbook regularly.

000

Going to scratch that artistic itch real soon! Been wanting to do some traditional drawings. Just hoping my busy work schedule will finally let me.

I got a lot of opinions about the state of things with TCG collecting as I’ve already mentioned several times. However, to be brief, I still have some hope things will eventually calm down.

000

While I haven’t been to McDonald’s for the past several years, I can’t help but feel a huge sense of dread. Especially as I foresee a disaster similar to the Szechuan sauce debacle from years ago with how rampant scalpers currently are.

100

And this is what I get for not keeping better track of the thing.
