a one year review of the following purchases: - i use the spirited away tote bag on a daily basis - i lost the totoro lunch bag - i drink water from the sophie glass all the time - the howl and sophie washi tape is too precious to use - the howl’s moving castle poker cards are for display only

i’m officially taking a break from work. i’ve taken breaks from various things in my life for my health, but i’m starting to realise that maybe the issue has always been the one thing i kept refusing to let go. the horrors might persist, but i’ve finally decided - for the first time - that i won’t.

This place has been more and more 'funny and interesting', will I be able to get out of here one day? or will this place be normal again? I can't tell. All I know is I can't just sit and wait. I need to prepare and improve myself in order to survive. I might fail at the end, but at least I tried.

trying to catch up with work (work nature changed), study to upskill (to change a field), pay bills and repay debts, invest, engage with all my oshis (on socials or on streams. I know I missed a lot of them), keep an eye on what's happening (locally and around the world) - are really overwhelming.
