Onimusha wrapped up! This might be my favourite Capcom title this year (with Pragmata coming a close 2nd). Stunning presentation oozing with style, deeply satisfying combat, and one heck of a cool cast, with some of the best villains in gaming. Can't wait to see where the franchise goes next!

Just dug this up, I still have the limited gold OoT case/sleeve artwork all shrink wrapped (and yes, I did play it, since it came bundled with the original box). This was my favourite version of OoT, I wonder if it'll change with the upcoming remake! Beyond hyped to see the showcase later.

Did a double bill today. Stop! That! Train! was absurd and I loved it. Stupid amounts of fun. Great cameos. And Coyote vs. Acme is a movie I wish they made years ago. I'm so glad it got picked up! Really gave me those Roger Rabbit vibes I've been longing. And the humour is brilliantly self aware.

Control wrapped up and, apart from the DLC (which I will run through over the next couple weeks), I'm now all caught up and ready for the sequel! While I didn't love the combat, the lore and atmosphere were really unique. I'm a total sucker for liminal spaces and weird shifting brutalist geometry.

I completed a game last night, yay! Beast of Reincarnation is greater than the sum of it's parts. There are lots of really great ideas in there, and while some things don't quite fully realise their potential, overall I had a great time discovering things as I went along. I'm glad I played it.

Jurassic Park is one of my all time favs. And I'm happy to say The End of Oak Street is one of the best dinosaur movies I've seen in years. The 80s adventure vibe with the tense cinematography was brilliant. And they managed to make dinos scary again. LOVED IT. Must-watch if you like this genre.

Theatre night. Hot Mess exceeded my expectations for a comedy about climate change. It was poignant and funny in equal measure and the actors were incredible. For a small show there was more energy than some of the big hitters in West End. I wish everyone could see it.

Checked out Big Walk with a friend last night without knowing anything about the game and had a blast. Took some getting used to the vicinity chat thing and having to gesture at distances and behind walls, but that's what made it so engaging and unique. Can't wait to explore some more!
