Who is Lesley Groff

Lesley Groff worked as an executive assistant for Epstein from February 2001 to July 2019, when he was arrested on sex-trafficking charges.

More than 1,000 women and children were victims of Epstein, the US Justice Department has said. Many of them have referred to "Epstein Island," which is Little Saint James — a 70-acre private island Epstein owned in the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Lesley Groff has not been charged with a crime and has said she was unaware of any illicit activities involving her boss and his acquaintances. Her name appears more than 100,000 times in the Epstein Library, as it's called on the U.S. Department of Justice website.

Groff managed Epstein and his associates' schedule, travel and communications, so her name appears often in emails in the Epstein files.

"I believe that my testimony will dispel the false notions that, because of my employment with Epstein, I must have knowingly enabled or conspired with him to commit these evil acts," Lesley Groff testified in a June 9, 2026, closed-door interview before the House Oversight Committee, a hearing transcript said.
