One of the main motivations to get a business going and generating revenue, is that the hours you trade at a job is to make someone else’s dreams a reality. And long gone are the days that they take care of you with a pension, healthy wages and perks worth staying loyal for. Doesn’t exist.

The main reason I got excited with the show was because Damon was attached to it. He has a skill with nuanced storytelling and he has grown to build a team that can tell Black stories, after his Lost mishaps. This fits into the bigger story because we were all confused when we saw Guy in Superman😂

Was thinking this feels like the Watchmen series, and read that Damon Lindelof is one of the creators. John’s backstory adds to the richness of the character that has been one of my favorites for over 50 years. Aaron Pierre is awesome in this role.

I tell people all the time that I can’t stand the conundrum you’re put in to pick living in the Suburbs. There’s no community here, just forced assimilation. While the Urban/Hood has incredible community and support for one another but under resourced so bad, especially for kids.
