While in #London I bought some Paxton and Whitfield #shortbread. It is very good. I try a lot of brands and am often disappointed. I am happy to say Paxton and Whitfield exceeded my expectations. I now wish I could easily buy more but am glad I can not for my ❤️ health!

My #Squatch #discgolf bags quality is not as good as my #Pound bag. The shoulder strap on my new (ordered in June) Squatch bag tore today. I hope the warranty claim goes well. The strap only lasted a few months of part time use. Not good. My pound bag had to have the strap replaced after 7 years.

#britishairways assured me I'd receive an email with compensation details within 24 hours. That was a lie. So I have to fill out forms and hope some redress happens (or at least some refund). So disappointed. I was really looking forward to the posh life for an afternoon. 5/5

You then empty your pockets, throw away water/drinks the plane gave you and get your stuff x-rayed and yourself scanned again. Why? Do we build bombs on the plane? What's the point? It just seems like a circus. Getting "politely" yelled at is great fun when it feels like it's 3am. 3/5

After the long miserable flight we got to deal with us customs and border control in Cincinnati. It's just like going through security to get on the plane - you claim your bag, carry it a few hundred feet then basically check it again. 2/5

A pretty poor ending to a great trip. #britishairways downgraded me from business class. Intl Business is pretty sweet usually so that stung. They'd overbooked. I was placed in a seat next to a baby who stayed upset for 7.5 of the 8.5 hour flight (that was delayed at least an hour for take off) 1/5

Bmw is still pretty high end in my eye but yeah you're right. Her company provides her car and have discussed going electric in the past but our homebase needs a 400 mile range on a fleet vehicle. Lots of her territory is so rural it's cell phone dead too. Not a good place to lose charge!

The crazy 2.5 weeks of Europe is over. Aberystwyth Wales -> Prague Czech -> Vienna Austria -> Budapest Hungary -> London England It's been fun but I'm ready to go home to Wild Wonderful #WestVirginia. (I could be convinced to move to London though) Country roads take me home

I live in a rural area of the USA. my wife drives a lot each day for work. Range is a serious consideration. She can't charge during the work day and charging to get home would eat a good chunk of her day. 400+ mile range, if accurate and regardless of weather would be a game changer!

Prague, Vienna, and Budapest were all cool. I'm back in #London though and it feels so much more.. Me. I love this big city with all it's different bits, neighborhoods, and vibrant energy. It's a Wednesday night and is solidly alive. It's my favorite big city and it reaffirmed itself instantly.

Just had dinner in Budapest it was great! Buratta Salad. Chicken stuffed with duck fois grois, zucchini with walnuts and feta, and Somlói for dessert. Somlói was a chocolate mousse with walnuts? I don't know. The main, side, and dessert were all new flavors to me. So good stand25.hu #food #Hungary

The countryside between #Vienna and #Budapest looks about the same as it does in Nebraska.. Just more trees. Plenty of hunting stands too (tower type) People are the same everywhere. Trying to tend to their families. Doing their best. Folks try too hard to pretend we've got big differences.

Belvedere art museum was neat in some ways. Amazing building. We've only walked the upper so far. Saw Klimt "The Kiss" as well as some other #art. I'm not really a "go to the museum" guy so I'll read up on things. Sorry no alt text. My fav in this batch is the village.

I had a bunch of good food in Prague. The best restaurant was out of the center of the city by a bit.. Dejvická Sokolovna. It was by a train station. The duck was so good and the price was perfect. #Prague #Duck #food
