Something weird about this renaissance of girl Draco Malfoy art is that we're seeing a bunch of drawings of Harriett as a shy nerd of sorts. I think people don't remember the books lol. Harry was a prankster bully jock who constantly got in trouble... he just happened to wear glasses XD

I think a lot of smart people's worst statements come from feeling like being able to handle knowledge in one domain gives one the duty to comment on everything. This is not true. If you have nothing constructive to say, don't say anything — no one expects us to.

CW: Suicide (I didn't attempt anything though! I'm good. TL;DR no stream this week.)

Announcement:

"Hey everyone! :)

I'm going to take the rest of this week off from the Silksong streams and channel work.

Unfortunately someone from faculty has committed suicide — and they did so from a place where I once considered doing the same. I'm not going to talk about it further — beyond saying I'm sufficiently affected to know this would seep into other things I'd do.

I will process things and come back soon!

If you struggle with depression, anxiety, MADD (like I do!) or suicidal thoughts, please consider getting mental healthcare and contacting a helpline.

You can find your country's indexed in:
https://findahelpline.com/

Thank you for understanding, with much love,
-Ravi."

Idk if I have aphantasia — passively, I can picture things in my head but they're not nitid images, they're shadows and outlines which's colours I can still feel. I am somewhere between 3 and 4 but I can imagine music very well!

I think lesbians are so accepting of trans people because like 62% of them pretended to be boys on Club Penguin — which put them in our shoes, for what it's worth.

Sometimes society at large rejects certain ideas because they’ve been thoroughly shown to be wrong and also because they suck and the people who espouse them suck and when someone comes around arguing those ideas should be part of some edgy modern debate we can and should shun them and move on.

Woke up feeling my own flavour of old because I remember when JonTron sang Firework by Katy Perry, which was decent! For a lot of people who watched gaming/comedy YouTube back then, it was this big cultural event. Today the idea of "YouTuber sings X" is not that impressive with the onset of genAI.

Listened to this while audio editing (terrible idea, I know). Thoughts? I think people should think really, really hard if they want to create content. Being a YouTuber or something sounds great until you find yourself with a big investment on a camera and find out you have nothing you want to say.

I've never worn "lucky underwear" from a place of superstition but I do have a pair of boxers that fit me the best (especially after E did a job and a half on my legs) and I keep them around for when I am working a long day or meeting supervisors. Functionally speaking, it's the same thing.
