Dealing with Azure is a hassle, but realizing that my game gets a significant performance boost for ~55% of the cost of our current AWS setup is a really unexpected bonus. Friendship ended with c5.4xlarge - now Azure Standard D8as v6 is my best friend. #gamedev

Graph of processing time over time - anything over 20s is bad and creates slowdown for users. Azure has an average of 19.45s compared to AWS's 20.76, but there's a long tail on the AWS calculation where the game state was significantly simpler and required less processing power. The graphs are highlighted in red where processing time exceeds 20s. Azure has some midgame spikes over 20s but AWS is solidly in the red by 5-6s for much of the first half of the game.

Taskmaster NZ may be the purest and best form of light entertainment television. I visited Auckland to see it filmed. Can't possibly recommend it enough. #kiwi

Yes! My wife and I actually traveled from NL to NZ to watch this current season being filmed - we were in the audience for episodes 3, 4, 5, and 6. Real bangers coming up. We were also blessed to get a backstage peek.
