I wish people would treat the WB merger like they treat HP shit: toxic. I know it's hard to skip your AEW, Absolute Batman or CNN but people gotta stand up for something. If you can stop supporting HP you can stop supporting Trek or whatever nostalgia title this new merger owns.

This is so exciting! David Mack covers are synonymous with Alias for me and give you that introductory excitement before you even read page one.

Fox News headline: Starbucks agrees to DEI overhaul after blockbuster Florida legal showdown. The coffee giant will pay $1M and submit annual compliance certifications for four years under the agreement

Yeah Newsom sucks, but he's sucked for a while. When he was 'bashing Trump' on twitter while hurting trans people everyone thought he was great. Now he's hurting everyone, and has been, and the consensus is he sucks now. I mean cool glad everyone caught up but a bit late.

Sorry but this WB stuff fucking sucks. It's messing with my autism because I refuse to support fascists but I don't want to miss out on three of my favorite comics. But like I have to. I just... fuck. Sitting here trying to get my head on straight about this.

Raven @ravens-curios.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

So I guess the mega maga ellisons now own WB too. Bye bye DC pull list. Feel bad for the writers who are going to get canned for being 'woke' or stories changed to fit the maga narrative. And don't think it won't happen. Look what they did to CBS.

Daily remember that Image platforms and promotes at least one abuser. I get all you spunky comic sites *have* to cover Image, but maybe show some spine and use your actual platforms to make Image change.

Until further notice comic books are *cancelled*. Thank you for your understanding in this trying time.

I'm so sick of Google and their bullshit that I'm switching my ISP to a local company. And starting to get rid of my gmail account. I'd already de-YouTube'd my life and it's clear I may as well go all the way.

Raven @ravens-curios.bsky.social · 01/09/2026

Dropping Image comics was already the right choice but now it's imperative that others drop them too. They've willfully kept working with Ellis since at least 2023, 2 yeara after claiming they were breaking ties due to the 100~ abuse allegations. Image is trash who harbors an abuser. #comics

When I talk about MtG I'm told it sounds like I'm not having fun. I mean yeah it sucks ass to think about a deck all week, put it together and get shit stomped. Also I definitely hate MtG but I love it too. Just let me bitch about it in peace. Also when the deck does work it's better than sex.

This shit is why you can't separate continuing to financially support the Harry Potter IP (whether by buying the games, merch, watching the new TV show when its out) from the consequences of what JK Rowling does with that money She's become so stiflingly powerful that even private docs arent safe

1/ So I'm just some rando online who reads a ton of comics. I'd been slowly pulling more and more Image stuff because they over a wide range of comics. Many weren't my cup of tea but I was giving books a try. And I understand how hard it is to make money in comics. Also that most creatives

I love BSky because it is my daily affirmation that everything is shit. Getting on here is like opening a portal into the nexus of horror. Or maybe it's my own ennui and depression.

Played two Commander games tonight. Won one out of spite with Bruna ban hammer (I don't have enough buff enchants so it's full of tap/exile enchants). Almost won game two because my commander just did its thing from an opponents deck doing its thing.

Raven @ravens-curios.bsky.social · 25/07/2026

Feel myself slipping back into old depressive mind sets. That need to scream. A wish for an end. Fuck.

Well hey at least the trigger happy untrained murder gangs sanctioned by our government will see less accountability now. Everyone always told me I had a future to look forward to and that future is just the Fourth Reich killing me for living my life. Eventually. Fucking hate it here.

Super cool having a meltdown just boiling under the surface. Can't let it out. I want to scream. Punch myself. Something. And beyond the meltdown the giving up is there again. If I could close my eyes and cease to be I would without hesitation.

Raven @ravens-curios.bsky.social · 06/07/2026

Considering FIFAs track record and their current pro-shit lips stance it's really disheartening to see so much World Cup talk. It's like people being giddy for HP in 2026. And from some of the extremely progressive types too. :/

000

Raven @ravens-curios.bsky.social · 02/07/2026

So far it's been a great new comic day. Amazing covers, great stories and some genuine surprises.

000

Raven @ravens-curios.bsky.social · 27/06/2026

I've become okay with being alone and just kind of existing without going anywhere. Sometimes it hurts though. But that's just life. Not sure if I'm wanting to talk about my fixations or what. Probably more of a 'it'd be nice to be able to do stuff with people' to cure the loneliness.

000

Raven @ravens-curios.bsky.social · 25/06/2026

The Ultimate universe finale stuff was pretty good. But if I'm being real Marvel killed their own hype in how they talked about it. It wasn't a next step. Guess I'm saying they shit the bed on it and then in desperation they backtracked after their audience had largely checked out.

Raven @ravens-curios.bsky.social · 19/06/2026

Tears welling up at the corners of their eyes as they look upon their bloated dead eyed leader. "Please! Please more forever wars!" Words dribbling from their sweaty greasy lips. "Please bomb more children so we can say we're good god fearing people."

Read a chunk of my #comics pull and wooow. Harley & Ivy ends super cute. Estuary embraces the non-veiled horror. Dream Girls is great and has a LOT of depth around peoples bodies. Oh and Supergirl Survive is so anxiety inducing, but it's really good.

Doomquest got a review bump because She-Hulk was in it. No but really it's a fun story. Reed Richards is an absolute hater. So much I haven't read yet today. Super excited for what I haven't read yet like Spiderversity and Absolute Wonder Woman. Oh and The Hab #2.
