this is a very 38 year old response but, I shop for clothes at costco now. some of their stuff is gross polyester but it's not all bad. I'm wearing tie dye rayon cargo pants that I got there for like, 12 dollars. (I did the tie dye, they were grey before)

last year my mom gave me her recipe for chocolate cherry bourbon balls and they're my favorite thing to make they're not complicated but I like to make things hard on myself so I make my own candied cherries instead of using the dry ones that go in fruitcake.

recently I've been learning about double two-tie twill. at some point I should try a new treadling but I like these fancy shapes too much #weaving

it reminds me so much of one of your photos - I hadn't seen that before, what a funny coincidence that I have a towel just like it 😂

orange is my favorite! 🧡 it goes with all the warm colors, it goes with all the blues, it's best friends with pink, just a warm friendly sunbeam of a color. these were a red, pink, orange and burgundy warp, with lots of leftover bobbin stripes.

hello 👋poking my head in from mastodon, just to see what's going on here these are my cats, pearl and rosie, and their favorite blanket.
