i don't like asking for help unless someone is in the act of dying but veterinary bills alongside other sudden medical expenses have been killing me this past week to the point it's getting beyond my capabilities so if you're able to, any financial help at all would be unfathomably appreciated ;w;

In the first panel, Lover, now having evidently been in labour for some time, is squatting on the metal floor of the examination room, sweating and flushed as he pushes as hard as he can. His teats are leaking heavily, and he is resting most of his weight on the arm he has over Larimar's shoulders as Larimar kneels next to him, leaning over to observe the imminent birth - the snout of Lover's baby is beginning to emerge at last. Larimar's dialogue reads:
Larimar: That's it, that's a lovely big push! The head's starting to come now, well done. Just keep breathing, and push-!
Lover's narration text reads:
I was right. It's big.
In the final panel, the view has drawn in close between Lover's legs as he finally delivers a squealing, wriggling and very large baby behemoth, which Larimar is gently holding as Lover pushes its body out. Their dialogue reads:
Larimar: There we go, well done! Nearly there, just one more push -
Baby Behemoth: [squealing loudly]
Larimar: Goodness, that's a healthy set of lungs! Now then, whenever you're ready -

![A further continuation. In the 1st panel, Lover, now very visibly pregnant, is leaning on a bar with Darling, a Hyur Highlander. Darling has tanned skin & short-clipped burgundy hair & is wearing a grape purple t-shirt & black cargo trousers. He's smoothly putting an arm around Lover as he also leans flirtily on the bar. Lover has a glass of water, which he has paused in lifting to his lips to turn & smile at Darling. Lover's jacket is open to accomodate his swollen chest & belly. His narration reads:
Most surrogates are women, & most of them don't need to undergo the first phase of the procedure, Inducement. However, because I was lucky enough to have my change when I was young, I never developed a natural cycle, & so my fertile period has to be induced before I can be fertilised & impregnated. Either way, this is all very normalised now. Surrogates are well respected, & we have our every need met while we're working.
In the 2nd panel, Lover is relaxing on a couch at Mosiac some time later, with a hand on his now due belly. "Sweetheart", an Au Ra Raen man with dark purple skin, ivory coloured scales & horns and white hair, is sitting with him.
Sweetheart: So, have you figured out what you're having yet, lover? You're huge this time! It must be a litter of something, surely!
Lover: Haha, oh, sweetheart. [heart] It doesn't feel like a litter. It's been a long one too, so I'm sure it must be something big. I've a few guesses in mind, but we'll see when I deliver tomorrow, won't we. [heart]

The fourth phase, Gestation, can vary a bit depending on what I'm carrying, with bigger, more powerful creatures usually taking longer. The big ones are my favourites; I love being pregnant, so it's wonderful when it lasts for a long time, & I usually start to show really early, too. This being my seventh pregnancy, I'm probably the most experienced surrogate they have, so Dr Larimar is happy to let me have the big ones. Everyone gets what they want.
