This is what my experience with chronic pain is like. Every day is a fight. With a combination of 3 medications I've managed to keep most days around a "4". A 4 is good for me. A 4 is functional. Most people would never know. Just because someone looks fine, doesn't mean they are.

Recovery from my gallbladder removal 2 days ago is going as well as it can. Should be starting to get a significant decrease in pain by around Friday, big thanks to everyone who has been checking on me 💜
