They’re not racist, they’re just cherry-picking numbers to justify implementing policies that will largely affect racialized migrants. There is no racism in that! Now, go ahead and vote yes to the five while still feeling like there’s no single racist bone in your body—it’s simple math.

Google has now renamed Lake Ontario for US users. They don’t even show the real name in brackets. I used a VPN to compare: Apple hasn’t renamed it (at least not yet), nor has Dutch service Here WeGo or OpenStreetMap. Yet another reason to ditch Google, and US tech more broadly.

What share of economics programs require students to pass an architecture class to graduate? If they did, economists would know that architecture isn’t about producing the cheapest building for the maximum return. It’s about creating spaces where people can flourish. Livability is not a luxury.
