I Loath Money. I don't want it, but I need it to get things I can't do done. I have enough for necessities, but not enough to pay people to help me. They won't even listen unless I lead in with Money talk and or pay them BEFORE they help. It either opens doors wide or vacuum seals them shut.

Giving some people "Early Access" is also counterproductive, because that means there are spoilers for the whole thing before the public can play it and that means many people won't buy it either because they can watch it or because they saw a bit of it and it wasn't to their liking.
