Why not just say the past six have failed to reach the conference finals? Isn't that a more compelling way to put it? Six out of the last seven makes it sound like there was one in the middle there who made it. There wasn't.

I just wish things were a little more active over here. But the vibe is so much healthier. I've said for years that all Twitter is is irony, self-promotion, and strangers yelling at each other. I actually mind the yelling less than the Twitter-humor shtick.

Yeah, most of my strongest memories involve shame. That's why I love the work of Karl Ove Knausgaard, who writes about shame better than anyone

People are always like, "This is a core memory" while watching a sunset with friends or whatever. But all my core memories are, like, the time I was invited to visit the New York Knicks' locker room after the game and though the sandwich buffet was for me when it fact it was for the New York Knicks.

Today in 1993: Nirvana’s iconic “Unplugged” concert airs on MTV. “.. In the moment, you weren’t aware you were taping what was Nirvana's last album," producer Alex Coletti said later. "It was only in hindsight that it became what it became." #RIP

"You people are next" is so vague I don't see how it could possibly be construed as a threat. Outrageous.
