Four years ago today I published a spec trailer for M.A.S.K. Unlike a lot of fans of the franchise who use AI to make fan trailers, I searched for clips the old school way for months, relied on simple After Effects work, and painstakingly assembled everything over weeks. No prompts. Trailer below.

I can’t even begin to tell you how happy this makes me. For years I’ve wanted to see M.A.S.K. back in the spotlight. We had a brief ten-issue comic run in 2017, but I want more. Now to get myself the gig writing the film (my idea is not too far off from this comic so far, even the T-Bob tease!).

My gf is sick so yesterday I drove over to sneakily drop flowers and soup at her door. I could hear her on a work call but she spotted me through the window and thought “I know that hat!” She poked her head through the door as I reached my car. Her smile and joy at seeing me will feed me for days.

My girlfriend, who is regularly the smartest person in any room, just listened to me rave about how Elmore Leonard wrote the single word “Mad” to describe a character in MR. PARADISE and it is magic and poetry… And she just let me go on like that for ten minutes. And she still likes me.
