Many Playstation series suffer of what I like to call the 4th game curse, you get a trilogy, the developers move on to something else and a 4th game gets made by a completely separate group of people that ends up receiving a pretty poor reception, feels like only Ratchet and Clank escaped this.

I'm not sure how to feel about Sly 2 so far, there's definitely a much heavier focus on stealth but I'm missing the wackier level design and platforming from the first game and every stage has made me go "wait that's it?" because they're so simple, small and end so quickly.

When it comes to Pizza Tower people always compare it to things like Ed, Edd n Eddy or Ren and Stimpy, but it makes me think more of things like Oggy and The Cockroaches and Xilam animation in general, Mc Pig is french canadian so that checks out to me.

Finally finished the first Sly game, I'd probably give it an 8/10 it's a very Crash esque game but with parkour and small stealth elements one hit you're potentially done kind of thing, a cheap death here and there but fun nonetheless, I do wish that the last area was a proper world stage.

It still annoys me that in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth they immediately reveal that Nibelheim was rebuilt, they could have let the mystery continue for a few more minutes but feels like this game seems to avoid letting you speculate.

Rayman Legends Retold is such a curious remake because anyone's reaction was why does this exist, why are they remaking the last game that came out yet it looks like they're putting a lot of genuine effort into reinventing the game, it still looks really full of personality.

Is Oblivion actually fun and worth playing? I ask as someone who played Fallout 3, really enjoyed it for half of my playthrough but then grew bored from seeing the same assets, buildings, interiors and tunnels everywhere and this is an older game so I kind of expect even worse variety.

I find interesting how old playstation mascot platformers, crash, spyro, ratchet and clank, sly cooper and jak and daxter are all spiritually cartoons, with cartoon tropes, characters and world building right out of a tv cartoon, it's a shame that that's all gone now.

A thing that bothers me about the Steam Frame is that it's more powerful than a Quest 3, but the later has games made and optimized for it while Steam is full of games that are unoptimized if not downright abandoned since the Vive and Oculus Rift days.

A running trend when I try out third party Switch 2 ports is that they actually look pretty good and sharp when docked but when you play them in handheld mode, holy fuck the amount of upscaling, feels like 900p at ultra performance.

I feel like it's almost a given that OoT is going to have a hard mode, but I hope that it's available from the get go and that they rework they way they do it, having no heart drops is not challenging, it's annoying having to go out of your way and travel just to get more potions.

The Steam Deck was lightning in a bottle, the Steam Controller is pretty neat but overpriced, the Steam Machine is an expensive disappointment, the Steam Frame shouldn't have even been approved in the first place.
