Has anyone experienced in outreach encountered this? Is it fentanyl? I’d like to be more informed on how to proceed in the future in case they do need help so I do the least possible harm.

I did stop to check on them, and they weren’t unconscious and were able to talk to me, but I’m not sure what the correct course of action was. I’m reluctant to call emergency services because it often ends up being worse for the unhoused to interact with police.

One was seated on the ground and had bent forward at the waist until her forehead was resting on her legs. Another was kneeling but in the fetal position with the backs of his hands on the ground, arms stretched behind him. Every one I saw was doing something similar.

I started a new job downtown that starts much earlier than my old one and also involves a multi block walk in the area. There’s a significant number of unhoused people there, and today I came across a couple who were doing something I’d never seen before.

I haven't really been following this, but this post has brought up an Important Question I've been meaning to ask. How do you pronounce the "i" in Flo Rida? Is it "ih," "eye" or "ee?" Like, is it pronounced like the state, or like it's meant to be "rider/ridah" or the most random third option ever?

Someone in my office is wearing either a cologne or a body wash so pungent it's making my eyes water. I'm definitely going to have a migraine by the end of the day. I don't know why people find it so hard to understand what a "scent-free" work environment is.

Poor doggo. My dogs also think they are cows, and Peggy has bad hips, which ironically means letting her go around a park at her own pace (well, it's my back yard now, since I moved to an area with more space) is better for her.

I found Don't Starve super fun once I figured out some of the basics, and now it's a comfort game, but I can see how it wouldn't be everyone's cup of tea.

Are you on PC or a mobile system? If on PC, my go-tos are Stardew Valley or Don't Starve. I think they both have mobile versions too, but don't quote me on that.
