I've been an Android user since I was 19. I'm really strongly considering trying out my first iPhone. I can get the 17 pro for free... I get an upgrade every year for free so I could just go back to Android if I don't like it.. Aaaa.

I never had the confidence that comes with loving yourself, and focusing on enjoying the world and being proud of what you have made. I was so focused on a combination of career growth, searching for a partner, and trying to find and retain a friend group that I think I lost myself in the process.

It might sound overdramatic, but I really do wish I could be the me that is in my mind's eye. And for most of my young adult time, I feel like my fox sona was partially what I wanted and partially what it felt like I was supposed to be to meet others expectations.

Part of this journey of recovery has been an understanding that the fursona that is deeply tied to my sense of self, has changed. This led me on a multiple years long journey to find the "new me" I've never felt so connected and comfortable with my self image as I am with my Hyena self.
