If you see this, post a monster There’s many reasons I adore the Shadow Hearts games, their extremely unique creature designs being a big one.

A Tammuz from Shadow Hearts: Covenant.

It’s two male sets of legs, joined where the torso would be.

The lower legs have a scorpion stinger where the dick would be

The upper pair has its legs dangling, and its calves are mouths

X’s Ifrit is by FAR the hottest in the series The fact that I’ve always thought that really is another data point in the “Moose was always going to be a Furry” pattern :V

Hell just look at one of mine! Doesn’t it look so inviting? Can’t you imagine running your tongue over those wrinkles? Or how they must smell after walking around all day? Or how soft and warm they’d feel against your skin?

Frederic’s apartment really does encapsulate what I say about Look Outside Yes there’s cosmic horror. Yes there’s body horror. But it’s all presented in such a goofy and fun way that like This game isn’t scary, it’s incredibly charming

Rifts, while a clunky system to play, has a WEALTH of world building to pull from and covers Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Horror all rather well It’s actually influenced my own writing quite a lot

I was what I would call “Furry Adjacent” for years, I appreciated anthro characters in the way I appreciated other fantasy characters like Orcs and Elves Then around 2017 I wanna say? I happened to play a bunch of games featuring rat people and I realized how cool they were

EverQuest 2, which has the Rat-like Ratonga

Legend of Grinrock 2, which has the Ratlings

Final Fantasy IX, which has the nations of Burmecia and Cleyra, whose citizens are rats
