I have this idea for a Rhenn and Sebb piece to draw from after Rhenn got kidnapped in the first drop. Him facing the viewer floating in a biotube with Sebb in front of him back to the viewer. Hands on the tube just. Reverent. I am wondering if I should imply they're nude. Rh enn would be but. Sebb?

Like. I know it somehow ties in with Kippa's full Oracle mode (her skin gets shimmers, her eyes glow, she gets the light wings and halo, etc) but also incorporates the crystalline armor. But that's the most I got.

Isgarren was genuinely, ACTUALLY worried about him. Not that he'd lose control but that it would fracture his mind or worse. Yeah he could rely on Kippa as the Wayfinder, but he knew Rhenn wouldn't agree with that either. And I mean. It works out but Rhenn's mental state is SHOT by the end.

He passed out after the meta was done, and when it came time for Isgarren to be like "Hey commander we gotta ascend you to fight Vloxx," he actually HESITATED. He didn't think Rhenn's mental state was anywhere near solid enough for this. But Rhenn wouldn't let anyone else do it.

But seeing Sebb like this, seeing what Kuda did to him, HURT. Hearing Sebb's corpse rasping and gurgling and moving like that, hearing it say HIS NAME to him. He shouldn't have felt bad, or guilty, but he did. He threw up IMMEDIATELY after 5388 went down. Just seeing him like that was a nightmare.

So thinking about how messed up Rhenn is this whole expac, especially in the last drop. Yes, Sebb fucked with his head. Kidnapped him, forced him to fight his friends. Was fucking with his augments among other things while he was under his control. But Sebb was, he thought, his only friend.

Prikk was a genius when it comes to genetics, and while Sebb had stolen some of his more recent work, that doesn't change that he was smart enough to install the stuff he's had since he was sixteen or manage the upkeep on it. But she's certainly determined.

Currently the fear is more that it's going to degrade over time somehow, and the only people who could have really done upkeep or repairs are both dead now. Taimi has been doing overtime researching the files Rhiia stole from Helix Biomagitech, but it's an uphill battle.

It does also do him harm if he moves wrong, and sometimes he doesn't notice until later. There's sharp edges on the metal, and it's not like Prikk or Sebb ever really cared that much so long as it didn't affect his performance. So he gets new scars all the time just from turning weirdly too fast.

The back pain he experiences is negligible since his body automatically redirects or negates most of it. The psychological issues, however, become worse as he gets older. He sometimes explains a "static" sensation in his head, and his body can't negate the migraines caused by the wires in his brain.

I do love my GW2 asura dearly even if they're not perfect. You don't see inside the head much, after all. I'm not really mad about it, but it is interesting to peek under the curtain now and then.

I don't half wonder if it was just a kind of learning curve since asura are so unique build-wise. Humans, sylvari, and norn all have similar head shapes, and charr can be based on cats of varying sizes. But asura are kind of New in that respect.
