A few example pages from Erasures Light At The End Of The World 2007 crew note book. This little notebook contained all info for the locations where they were playing, hotels, pickup times, flights etc. A nice little unusual collectors item. #erasure #vinceclarke #andybell

This always cheers me up, plus the fact Andy got my name right, at least the first time anyway 🤣🥰

As some of you already know I do my final mix tweaks in mono. There is however one plugin I've been using for a few years now on my master bus and that is Mathew Lane`s DrMS. I never do a mix without it. I created my own preset and mix into it. www.mathewlane.com/plugins/drms/

Here's a screenshot of the DAW view. As you can see I created the original kick and bass pattern (muted) as in the original song, but decided to go with a four on the floor feel instead. Also the two reference tracks, one from the live DVD and one from the album.

Mr B. If you can guess the exact screenshot then that's the song I'm currently working on 🤣

Results will vary depending on how clean the initial vocal rip is. In SpectraLayers you want the "Unmix Chorus" from the "Modules" drop down menu. ⬇️

It`s actually illegal to fell trees on the old railway track, any felling over the years would have gone through the parish council, rather like it did back in August 2024 when a number of other trees along the track were felled, as mentioned in the parish council newsletter.

I've been using Kick 3 a lot lately. You can actually import a kick sample and it will try to replicate it using synthesis. www.sonicacademy.com/products/kic...

I also found these from April 2010. Cute baby chicks.

Was going through some old footage and found this from 2010, our back yard with the chicken shed when we used to keep chickens. Fresh eggs everyday. Chickens are very intelligent affectionate birds, I often use to go and sit with them and they would take it turns to sit on my knee for some petting.

I've been playing around with the Waves Curves Equator plugin on my mix bus. I have it set to the pink curve so it tames the harshest highest resonant frequencies more. Basically the orange line is your threshold, anything that goes above that gets tamed/processed.
