Tia, they do exist. I have just had 12 days at an invite only property near Hervey Bay QLD worked out just over $30 per night. Because it is invite only or at least be recommended by someone, they do not advertise or post in magazines. If you want to know more hit me up.

Also. You can pick up good info at the Information Center on the way into LR one of the best sights to see is the Pubs In The Scrub tour. The map they sell you is not to scale and each turn off is about 40-60 ks allow 4-6 hours. We had lunch at The Hilton, a good feed and cold drinks.

Pretty sure the Lightning Ridge spring is also 40+ deg too, just remember to take a drink (water) and short soaks. Some of the other springs listed in the thermal way are luke warm at best, but it fun finding them and worth the effort, enjoy 🥰

Also there is a book you can buy ?? online called "The Thermal Way" that lists all the hot springs state by state. My copy stays in the van and we often plan trips along the best route, hot spring to hot spring.

1:/ Hey Tia, if you are caravaning just near the Qld border is the Goodooga hot springs, free camping with a stroll across the road to the springs. Only if you like it hot, I mean damn hot 40+ deg. You do acclimatise quickly, just don't stay in too long.
