Oooohhh this feels so lively!! I love this amount of expressions, especially for a side scroller style sprite!

Kitbashing existing parts of sprite helps a lot when working with symetrical outfits! A few exceptions with his boots, layering on his face (behind, or in front of the shoulder cuff), but otherwise a pretty simple flip!

Agreed!! Simon's are definitely inspiring work, but so are yours!

Equal-opportunity Curly fit!! I can't decide on a favorite, they're all way too perfect!

This looks so clean!! I love the subtleties of the change in expression, great attention to detail!

Thank you so much for the kind words!! It's gone through a lot of phases over the years 🤭

They were a challenge at first, but I'm so glad that I was able to include them! 💙

I'm in love with this concept @royalbrewery.bsky.social!! There's something so beautiful in the way these folks celebrate their ancestry... thank you for sharing with us, and thank you to Captain for bringing them to life!

I can't get enough of Loner's Landing! By far my favorite opening segment in a long while- whenever it cycles on it instantly takes me back <3

THESE are the sort of art pieces I've been waiting to see, the cast pit against impossibly powerful protagonists moments before striking down the final boss 👀 The composition on this is amazing!! Really well done ⭐

A more deliberate leaping counterattack! Playing around with how variable blocking speed will work 💥🛡️

Back from the Grave! Working on some more polish for this boney boy... block indicators to show when he's ready to hit back!

Loving these studies, man! Taco's books are an absolute wonder, but seeing them in motion like this, and from all these bonus angles is so inspiring... Keep on the good fight!

I'll absolutely have to look into it! I'm super old-hat myself, really only using Aseprite for animation like yourself... there's something about the responsiveness and "feel" of SAI's handling that just keeps me coming back. I've only just recently gotten into using Drawpile on mobile!

010

❖ RasterPlan ❖ @rasterplan.bsky.social · 12/01/2026

A fellow SAI enjoyer!! I still use SAI 1 for a lot of my rough work, I'm a slave to the stabilizer tools...

The most twitter of all time... 💀 I really wonder how these types are able to function in the world, if at all... I know it's probably not the first or last you've dealt with, but I really appreciate how respectfully you still make an effort to defuse these wildcards 😤

❖ RasterPlan ❖ @rasterplan.bsky.social · 26/12/2025

It's so clean!! I love the way you've color-blocked out the shapes in the fingers especially, really great use of lighting and space!

At long last, something new!! I'm working on creating some genuine in-game sprite mock ups for a bunch of the characters I've been workshopping... so I hope to be posting a bit more regularly moving forward! This is the new design for Willow, the Necromancer!
