I tried the Slaughterbrute head but it’s just way too big. 😅 I used a Slaanesh DP head for one. I think Dexcessa is about the same size…?

They have released two limited sorcerers, a limited darkoath chieftain, an exalted hero and now a warqueen. StD gets lots of limited releases but it’s never the one foot hero which needs an update. It’s super weird. 😅

I just don’t think the colours line up. Blonde hair next to a bronze crown blend into one another. The metal leaves a lot to be desired as ever. 🫠 My main gripe: new version of a plastic character with a good sculpt. The chaos lord is literally on a square base on the web shop. Do a chaos lord. 😔

They did this girl a massive disservice with the paint job. That axe looks just flat and uninspiring. Warqueen already got a sick model, but it’s StD so I’m probably picking it up anyway. Every StD kit bought is a vote to replace Stormcast with StD as the AoS posterboy army.

Having been burned by Warcry before I don’t really want to buy Darkoath Savagers. That said, Splintered Fang should be okay proxies for them. Right? Got no rules anymore so can’t be confused with anything. When they did they had a 5+ save and did crit mortals. Like savagers. Should work, I think.

I think Slaanesh suffers from being a strong, but not popular army. So when the ”tryhards” play it the winrate goes up a lot. If it gets punched a little I’d imagine the winrate will go down a lot when they move on. 😅 I’m of course also a tryhard, but I did start painting the army last year. 😶‍🌫️

I could just change slickblades to seekers and keep playing the same thing, but worse. Which feels less than inspiring. Was really hoping for a Paragon fix. Guess we’ll have to wait for the winrate to drop first. I got a couple things I want to try. Maybe give the cheaper DP a go.

The rend -1 is pitiful. But it feels like every time I activate them they roll super poorly as well. +1 to hit, wound and crit two hits? Don’t care. They refuse. Just a mobile tar-pit. I also really dislike how their bases are huge and they still reach over it on both sides.

Battlescroll Week. What do I hope for? I know Slaanesh has a really solid winrate but I will ask… please… do something about Paragon. It’s such a feels bad when you succeed at a charge and lose your battle trait. Lots of StD buffs!!! More StD buffs. I deserve a 200p Abraxia. Gimme.

5-0 in Trelleborg with Slaanesh. Only got minor wins yesterday so if I didn’t win the rest my final placing would’ve been abyssmal. Thankfully managed to pull through. Looking forward to this week’s Battlescroll, the one we’ll be playing at 6-Nations and in Barcelona.

Not to mention everything releases before 3rd edition AoS that was in CoS was a vestigial limb. The brief period where one dwarf unit (hammerers) were good didn’t last long, nerfed in a hurry. It never felt like dwarves were an army, just some mediocre warscrolls not worth using as allies.

Build options is what I miss the most from the previous editions. Used to have some really out there, cool rules. But the models are still sick and I’m sure 5th edition will breathe new life into the army.
