My son was telling me how much he enjoyed his frappuccino at Starbucks and how silly it was of his Dad to order a black coffee at a milkshake place! Thats Starbucks problem in a nutshell

Every day, I launch a fight against ever increasing no of tabs. And then give up. Each tab tells a story. A possibility - of reading an article, buying that thing, writing that doc, signing up for that class. If I close that tab, I might never find it again. The tabs live another day.

As an Indian, my contempt for (rich white) anti-vaxxers in the west is so deep I often cannot quite find the words to express my contempt. I grew up seeing polio-disabled children and adults crawling over rubble and roads in India. My father worked for the Pulse Polio program. What is happening?

Slower organic growth might allow them to scale and handle this size better. I see slower growth at least for a period as a thing

The second coming makes it sounds like a horror movie. I guess that would make us the actors doing a line up or something Ps: note to self - get a pic taken by a photographer

Just read Product Managers as Product Mangoes and in my sleep deprived brain it kinda made sense. Now awake and trying to figure out why And all this made me think of @anildash.com 🥭

Question of the day - Did the earthquake warning show up on Twitter first or Bluesky? Curious if BlueSky will be able to report events as fast as Twitter did in its hay day. The Korea events were first reported here I believe

I dont technically live in the city anymore. Live in the peninsula, but really love the whole area including the city.

Was out in San Francisco this morning, volunteering with the Salvation Army. Our boys helping us deliver meals. Chatting with other volunteers, I was reminded how much I love the spirit in the city. The fun, creative, vibrant, helpful spirit. Grateful to live here. #happythanksgiving #sanfrancisco

Born in yet another reincarnation. The life-death-rebirth cycle of Google chat / messaging continues...

Yes I have heard people say that they like being flooded with pictures of cute cats. And let's face it the Internet has always been about 🐶 and 😺

Competition is a beautiful thing. And maybe just maybe we are seeing the beginning of the end of coercive social media

"algorithmic social network" is an oxymoron. It's not social if the algorithm is stuffing random content into my feed, and I cannot see content from those I follow.

Let's welcome the scientists to the blue skies.

You know a social network is on its way when people spend a lot of time about the social network itself. But ideally and one day, I would like Bluesky to fade into the background. And let the content do the talking.

I have been desperately trying to find siracha and failing. Good to understand what's going on. Is there any way to find the original siracha?
