I convinced a tuba/euphonium professor to record and explain the history of the performances in Hibiki Euphonium He’s going to perform the titular euphonium piece while explaining the circumstances of the animated performances and the legacy that Hiroyuki Takahashi (the instruments sakkan) left

It’s done, the piece is finished I can’t wait it for it to be performed by a band 😌🙏

Sorry I feel very much depressed and don’t want to look at Discord or social media in general I don’t think I ‘ve been able to move on from what happened last year and I feel like I’m just surviving instead of living

I whipped out a cool very compact bass cymbal snare set where I can play the 3 parts independently of one another and it’s really good for practice Slowly I’m getting used to feet independence and can play a bunch of Spanish pieces but there’s still a lot of room for improvement

I’ve been so busy I can’t even do my music homework T_T Good thing April is closed May we go back and we finish it 💪 Would be so nice to see my piece performed by the band On another note, another town/city is adopting one of my fav pieces for their marches I’m so glad it’s getting traction

Oh yeah I went to the music room to practice some pieces and I had a lmao moment when I tried reading (and playing) the 3 percussion parts (sn, bs, cb) at the same time Turns out I hadn’t really exercised my left foot so playing the cb part with the hihat made it kinda sore kek

I’ve been listening to classical music that my dad recommended And damn, this piece (2nd mv) has such a sad story behind The composer was blind, and wrote the score in braille as her wife was lying in a hospital room after the death of their unborn child youtu.be/gWA1mL-2s10?...
