And the story treats the theme incredibly well. I'm tearing up thinking about how this could have been so easily missed. Now, the characters really have time to settle and breathe. The ending lets you breathe. Felt like ANet was saying our job is done now, and we can come back in two years.

Having to struggle is what makes life beautiful, and someone in Vloxx's state realistically wouldn't see that, thinking he's really powerless because sometimes the world sucks. Vloxx is the Commander's mirror. Who they could have been, if they weren't lucky to be the chosen one.

In my opinion, Visions of Eternity is a wonderful story. Tackling how much love for your home and your people can be warped, leading you to only see the bad in the world instead of the profound good around it. Just like Endwalker's message - the burden of living makes us who we are.
