Well yes in the books there are plenty examples. When Siuan tells someone she will use them as fish bait she is being sarcastic after all lol but yes Robert Jordan did go and clarify that in interviews as well It’s only a lie if the audience is possibly deceived

INTERVIEW: Jan 20th, 2006

Robert Jordan's Blog: IT'S BEEN AWHILE (Verbatim)

ROBERT JORDAN

For Majsju, the oath against lying does leave room for sarcasm. It is intent and result that matter. No sister can intentionally speak an untruth either with the intent of passing on false information or with the belief that false information might be passed on. Thus the careful slicing and dicing of words. But if someone were to hold up a piece of white cloth and ask whether it was black or white, someone who had sworn the Three Oaths would be capable of saying that it was black as a matter of sarcasm. But not if, for example, the person asking the question was blind and thus might well take the statement for truth rather than sarcasm.

Old attempt at #poetry I come back to often.

One day the day may come
that promise comes now to term
to bear the fruit, rightfully won.
Poison lie in patience, waiting, a taste disguised as sweet to some.
And among the fools awaiting harvest,
Venom seeks a heart unsung.
Apathy, an open door
To those who plant with toxic thumb.
But light cares not, darks bygone path, corrupts its absence into wrath.
For light allows one to become
One who knows, one day will come.
