Our team has been working hard on Red Rain, the story of a mother raising her daughter in a decimated yet beautiful post-apocalyptic landscape. To celebrate moms everywhere, we're excited to announce that our demo will be out Mother's Day weekend! ❤️

I for one, trust Brian McHuman’s in depth analysis. “If you haven’t checked the preorder bonus content yet, you may want to commit”

My problem is that I can get too nerdy about it, and like ask questions about grammar the person I'm talking to isn't interested in.

Just remembered there was a Harrison Ford movie where he was charged w/ homicide, the evidence being his wife saying: “—Jon this person is killing me Jon this person—“ I guess the plot hinged on whether it was more of a “this person is killing: Jon.” Or a “this person is killing me, Jon”

1000xresist is a great example of a game that can be about a lot of things while feeling thematically cohesive.

Hey! I'm interested--sounds like it'd be a lot of fun.

Been liking using noclip.website so far. Great level design resource. Figured this smash bros map was foreshortened, but not by this much.

I always think of writer’s block as realizing I need to work on something else to lay the ground work. But I’ve always been an outlier

This is true, but I think what divides the medium from the performer/audience is mixed up here. Making and playing Pong had context, but does the game itself do a story? I would argue the language that games use to tell a story isn’t used in Pong.

I used to think this, but an oddly compelling argument I heard once is that some dances have stories and some dances don’t.

Ransom Linder @ransomlinder.bsky.social · 22/11/2025

Is this in the idea that all games have stories? Or just that for games that do have stories, all the elements contribute?

They didn’t even try to hide the plot twist that they’re all ghosts smh 🙄
